“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” — Psalm 116:15
The Nowa Omoigui Centre for the Advancement of Art, Medicine & History (The Nowa Centre) joins the Omoigui family in mourning the passing of Mrs. Moira Omoigui, who went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, the 2nd of September 2025.
Mrs. Omoigui was more than the beloved wife of Dr. Nowa Omoigui; she was his steadfast partner, confidant, and anchor. Together, they walked a journey of love, faith, and purpose, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire across generations and borders. Her strength and unwavering devotion sustained not only her family but also the mission and values that Dr. Nowa lived by.
As we remember her, we give thanks for a life beautifully lived. Her passing may mark the end of an earthly chapter, but her influence and memory will remain forever woven into the story of the Omoigui family and the work of the Nowa Centre.
We honour her with gratitude, pray for her peaceful rest, and ask the Lord to comfort her children, family, and loved ones with His unfailing love and strength.
Rest well, Mrs. Omoigui. Your light continues to shine, and your legacy lives on in the values we carry forward at the Nowa Centre.
